Egypt

For the Ancient Egyptians, death was not the end but merely an interruption. Appeasing the gods, preserving the body and providing funerary equipment ensured admission into the afterlife. This was the mere reason why Pyramids were built as tombs to send their kings and queens to an afterlife.
I have learned of the Great Pyramids of Giza since 3rd grade in school and since then its been a dream of mine to see them.So here I’m in Giza, a small town located 10 km away from Cairo. This is where the most mysterious wonders of the ancient world “The Great Pyramids of Giza” are located.
