Red snapper

Seychellois love to eat fish, so this one thing you will find on the menu of every restaurant.

However, the local favorite is the red snapper (Bourzwa) cooked chilies either in a hot oven or on an open fire. It’s another must eat when in Seychelles.Careful though, it can be quite hot and spicy.

My personal favorite was Bonito.Bonito is fish curry made from the chunks of local fish Bonito. It is a mix of curry powder, curry leaves, turmeric, chilies and with a base of coconut paste. This one for sure is really spicy.
